The aim of the annual GIGA Global Transitions Conference is to bring together scholars and practitioners to address key issues of our times. In 2019, we want to explore the topic of economic statecraft.

In the course of this year, and with the help of forward-looking and collaborative tools, participants will explore and discuss new ideas beyond thought barriers and will test impulses to improve international cooperation and the effectiveness of the multilateral system.

The Observer Research Foundation, in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the GIGA is organising an invitation-only roundtable on The Future of the World Order.
