Training at the GIGA

Expanding and renewing knowledge is a constant part of scholarly and administrative work. Our internal GIGA Training Programme – with courses and workshops on a variety of topics, including soft skills – enables our employees to continuously develop their personal and professional capacities. The offer is generally aimed at all employee groups, although the target groups of specific training courses may vary. In addition, the GIGA offers regular in-house English and German language courses.

In addition to this internal offer, our staff also have the possibility to attend external training formats and specialised courses, for which they can apply for financial support from the GIGA. The Academic Development Manager can provide assistance in finding suitable opportunities here.
