Scientists often face the challenge of presenting complex information in a clear and accessible way when engaging with the media. How can you simplify your message so that it’s easy for the audience to understand? How can you effectively communicate your key points, no matter what questions arise? To represent your institution effectively and "sell" your research to a broader audience, it's essential to know what to expect from the media and how to steer the conversation in your favor. In this workshop, we will equip you with the skills needed for a range of public speaking situations.
Participants are asked to complete a questionnaire with a reflection task in advance. In addition, there is the offer to complete another task afterwards.
Date & Time:
The training will take place at the GIGA on 03 June 2025, from 09:30 to 16:30.
Please note that this course is GIGA internal only. Registration has already taken place.
