    Miriam Prys-Hansen took part in a very distinguished panel discussion with the title: "The World in Disarray: Challenged Beyond Discussion". Fellow panelists were Dr. Christoph Heusgen (Ambassador, Munich Security Conference), Imants Liegis (Ministry of Defence Latvia), Dr. Norbert Röttgen, MdB and Dr. Nils Schmid, MdB. The panel discussed the geopolitical challenges posed by rising powers in the Global South with a focus on how Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine epitomizes the threat to the rules-based international order, as well as the impact of the systemic rivalry between the US and China. Other panels of the event included, for example, an interview with the German Ambassador to India, Dr. Philipp Ackermann, and a keynote lecture by Professor Dr. Norbert Lammert, Chairman of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and Former President of the Deutscher Bundestag.
