  • Tina Beuchelt is a senior researcher at the ZEF. She holds a doctoral degree in agricultural economics from the University of Hohenheim, Germany. Her research topics include land use and food security, growth, inequality and poverty as well as sustainable use of biological resources. She currently focuses Ethiopia, Ghana, Mexico and Nigeria as research countries. Dr. Beuchelt is the scientific coordinator of the BMBF funded BiomassWeb project “Improving food security in Africa through increased system productivity of biomass-based value webs” and the project leader of the ESSZert project on “Developing food and nutrition security criteria for biomass standards and certifications (ESSZert)”.
