In this talk, Dr. Dylan Loh discusses how China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) became the primary vehicle through which the idea of "China" is produced, articulated, and represented on the world stage. In doing so, Loh gives a comprehensive re-appraisal of MOFA and its role in China's re-emergence.
