GIGA Training
25.05.2021 - 27.05.2021
The workshop is aimed at assessing the strengths and challenges of PhD candidates in terms of managing their project. In the workshop individual work approaches and their efficiency for each participant are assessed. Building on these assessments strategies for handling challenges are developed and starting points for improvement identified. The participants also learn about basic tools and common approaches in project management.
In the second part of the workshop participants will consider their work-life balance, and explore strategies for managing competing personal and professional demands on their time. We will look at ways to redistribute time and resources so that participants can meet their individual time management goals. Stress management and resilience techniques will also be introduced.
The workshop aims to give a broad introduction to the topic as well as space for those with some experience of project management techniques to share what has worked well for them in the past.
